Tomatoes!
I love my vegie plants! I've had so much trouble in the past growing vegies but this time they look like they are doing well.
I grew them from seed. It's such an adventure growing from seed. I never expect them to grow or know how many will be successful, but this lot did well. It's a much cheaper way of getting many plants but it requires patience!!
My tomatoes started to come up but I had snails and slugs attack them quickly!
How beautiful are these beans! I think they are such a pretty plant.
I don't know what happened! I thought I was over watering them. Just as they started to grow beans they went yellow and I could see a little bugs on the so I sprayed them with Confidor spray and was unable to eat the beans but the plant recovered.
In this pot I put in some twigs to give the plants some support. I was a little wary of introducing disease from the twigs but I'm all about not paying for things I don't have too so I was willing to take the risk! The plants seem happy so far.
These are my tomatoes. They are doing really well so far.
I had too many plants in each of my pots so I separated the plants leaving four plants in one pot but I didn't have any where to put the excess plants from the orange pot. I'd have to buy some more pots later (eventually!) but what a difference when the plants have room to grow! The tomatoes in the black pot have shot up double the size of the plants in the orange pot.
